I decided this year to look for a theme for my photo blog posts – and came up with photos related to all the elements of the periodic table.  Not sure if I’ll extend to all 118 current members, but I’ll certainly look to cover the first 98.  My photos will either relate to the element itself or common usages – other times I might look at the history of the element, the discoverer, or possibly tangential photos related to the atomic number or the chemical symbol.  If the element has some photographic significance then I’ll also mention that.  I won’t be taking any specific order, and my first will be Iron (Fe) – atomic number 26.  What will it be?  Rail lines?  Bridges?  Blood?  Photographic bleaches?
